The GSSK is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. The Board consists of volunteers, many of whom have children attending the program. Board activities include recruiting students and staff, fund-raising, public relations on behalf of the school, communication with government agencies of German speaking countries, communication with other German Saturday Schools, communication with international businesses in the area. The Board appoints a Curriculum Coordinator/Principal whose responsibility it is to ensure that the policies of the Board and the academic goals of GSSK are achieved in the classroom.
